Mopars everywhere you look

If you have (build) it they will come!  Or Viva Las Vegas, here we come!  The story for many Mopar lovers was the same, all over the west.  From Glendale Dodge and Earnhardt Dodge in the Phoenix, Ariz., area; from Hinkley Automotive in Salt Lake City, Utah; from Pine Country Truck & Trailer Sales in Grand Junction, Colo.; from Glendora Dodge in the Los Angeles area; and from the Mopar Muscle Club of Albuquerque, New Mexico; hundreds of Mopar faithful headed for Las Vegas on Wednesday and Thursday prior to the actual MATS event on March 22-24, once again put together by Phil Painter.

Upon arriving in Las Vegas all the touring groups were being hosted by the Cannery Hotel & Casino on Craig Road, close to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In addition to a Mopar car show during the evening hours, the Cannery also offered racers two concerts in their showroom on Friday and Saturday nights. WOW!  Anyone with a Mopar wristband was invited.

Clay Bates made the cruise from Earnhart Dodge in Gilbert, Arizona, and was a semi-finalist on Sunday.
