Pro Stock driver Allen Johnson and Funny Car driver Jack Beckman provided the magic for Mopar at the brand’s headline event, the 33rd Annual Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals. Johnson and Beckman powered to the poles and seized wins behind the wheels of their Mopar machines in their respective classes, presenting Mopar with two wins July 22 at Bandimere Speedway as the perfect gift for the brand’s year-long 75th anniversary celebration.

“As this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Mopar brand, all of us at Mopar are very proud of Allen Johnson and Jack Beckman on doubling up here today in our flagship event,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “To win in both Pro Stock and Funny Car is a true testament to the Mopar-powered engines that Allen and Jack utilize. Their victories are a great reward for all of the hard work their teams have put in this season. We look forward to even more wins by Mopar-powered drivers throughout the 2012 NHRA season.”
