Tom Roschen wins the Super Pro/Pro Run-Off on Sunday in his 1974 Dodge Duster to claim the big prize.

The second annual Mopar Max event at Cedar Falls (Iowa) Raceway presented by and had a successful conclusion on Sunday, Oct 7. Although the weather conditions were less than good with temperatures only in the 40’s, the diehard Mopar enthusiasts were in great attendance.

The two-day event including drag racing and swap meet for both Saturday and Sunday and a special car show by North Iowa Mopars on Saturday only.

In racing there were four classes of competition including Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Mopar Muscle (street legal). The competition was fierce and several racers made their best passes ever with the cool under sea-level conditions.

“We were excited to see how much support the event had even though the weather was actually quite nasty,” said Track Operator Dan Driscoll. “We will definitely be planning another All-Mopar event for 2013.
