Fred Ristagno’s Sox & Martin tribute car sets the tone for the weekend.

Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ, has a long history for Mopar drag racers. As the NHRA travelling circus came to town for the Supernationals on June 11-14, the Mopar faithful in the Sportsman ranks gathered to compete once more. Although none of the classes were won by the correct car brand, here is a look at some of our favorites at E-town.


There were plenty of old hands at E-town, including Super Stock racers Bucky Hess in “King Kuda II” and Al Smyth in the Portatree Cuda.
