Mitchell, Mopar dominate at St. Louis Super Stock race

The first of four races that make up the Midwest Nostalgia Super Stock Championship is history. Twenty-three Nostalgia Super Stockers entered the competition as a race within a race at the second annual Muscle Car Reunion and Nostalgia Drags at Gateway International Raceway located in Madison, Ill., just across the Mississippi river from St. Louis, Mo.

It was an all-run race and 12 of the 19 Nostalgia Super Stock cars that answered the call for the first round were of the Mopar variety.
