The 5th Annual Mopars at the Strip at Las Vegas has grown to one of the finest collections of Mopar muscle and beautiful sheet metal in the Western United States.  Nearly a thousand racecars and show cars and thousands of spectators basked in the sun to soak up the latest resto ideas, share speed secrets and hunt for obscure parts in the ample swap meet.

The Mopars at the Strip is drawing cars from as far away as Chilliwack, British Colombia where Garry Keay drove his 1970 rotisserie-restored Plymouth Superbird some 1500 miles through rain and snow to attend the event.  Powered by a 440 six barrel the car is a looker and a driver since Garry had recently finished a 7,000-mile roundtrip on the high-winged B-body to the Talladega Super Speedway in Alabama where he made a lap of the track and met NASCAR legends Buddy Baker, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison.

If you want to race your new Hemi Charger, the Mopars at the Strip folks have a class for you.
